Mr. Turnbull has devoted his career to representing individual and corporate plaintiffs in civil litigation. His practice is concentrated in the areas of Personal Injury, Products Liability, Business Litigation, and Insurance Bad Faith. He has been involved in cases which resulted in substantial jury verdicts and numerous settlements of over $1 million dollars. Mr. Turnbull welcomes and appreciates the opportunity to zealously represent his clients in complex cases.

Mr. Turnbull grew up in Fairhope, AL and graduated from The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, majoring in International Finance and German. He later attended Cumberland School of Law. While in law school, he was a member of the Cumberland ATLA National Trial Team that finished 5th in the nation. He was also on the Trial Board, Honor Court, and received the ATLA Top Trial Advocate Award in his law school class.

Mr. Turnbull is on the Board of Directors and Board of Governors of the Alabama Association for Justice; a member of the American Association for Justice where he serves on the Membership and Oversight Committee of the Emerging Leaders Section; and a member of the Birmingham Bar Association's Young Lawyers Section where he served on the Executive Committee in 2006. He is a member of The Southern Trial Lawyers, American Bar Association and Public Justice. Mr. Turnbull was recently recognized as an Alabama Rising Star, a peer nominated publication identifying the best and the brightest young attorneys nationally.

He resides in Birmingham with his wife Dawn and his three children, Brett, Jr., Arden, and Miller.
