Farris, Riley & Pitt LLP represents Plaintiffs in a lawsuit against Tennessee-based Sitel Corporation. The lawsuit alleges Sitel violated the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) with regard to its pay practices for all Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) employed across the United States. Sitel operates customer service call centers and employs thousands of representatives. The lawsuit alleges employees were required to perform work prior to the start of their scheduled work shift in order to make their work station ready to receive incoming customer calls. While the Plaintiffs assert this preliminary work is integral and indispensable to their primary job responsibilities, they were not paid for this time. The Plaintiffs seek to represent all employees and former employees that have been subjected to Sitel’s alleged wrongful pay practices within the three years of the filing of this lawsuit.
