John Moss

of Counsel

John Moss is a highly experienced personal injury attorney with over 35 years of representing victims of catastrophic injuries and wrongful death. He focuses his practice on railroad accidents, trucking accidents, and complex transportation injury cases; representing individuals and families impacted by serious negligence.

John is widely recognized for his extensive knowledge of the Federal Employers Liability Act (FELA), a federal law that allows injured railroad workers to pursue compensation for employer negligence. He is dedicated to advocating for injured railroad employees, railroad subcontractors, truck accident victims, and their families by helping them recover compensation for serious injuries, catastrophic harm, and loss of life. This compensation includes medical expenses, lost wages, and pain and suffering beyond traditional workers’ compensation systems.

Over the course of his career, John has tried numerous complex personal injury and wrongful death cases in both state and federal courts. He has secured several seven-figure verdicts and settlements and has recovered more than $20 million for his clients since 2024.

John earned his undergraduate degree from Furman University on an Army ROTC scholarship and was commissioned into the U.S. Army. He later received his law degree from Georgia State University College of Law and served for 10 years as a JAG officer in the Georgia Army National Guard.

Committed to mentoring future trial lawyers, John taught trial advocacy and litigations skills for over 15 years as an adjunct professor at Georgia State University College of Law.

John lives in Georgia with his wife, Mimi. They have 4 children, and they enjoy exercising, hiking the north Georgia mountains, and spending time with family and friends.
